This is a comprehensive, high-level certification program designed for ages 14 and up who are ready to step into paid teaching roles within the aerial arts industry. With a proven track record of success, students who complete this course have secured paid employment as instructors within six months.
What You’ll Learn:
Curriculum Design and Class Planning: Learn to structure classes effectively, catering to different skill levels while keeping students engaged and progressing.

Attend a minimum of 1 class per week in the Aerial Apparatus of your choice.
Pass in-studio assessments.
Must be willing to learn and qualify in all apparatus.
Good communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and occasionally parents.
Willing to take initiative with assigned tasks.
Maintain a positive and friendly manner while present at the studio.
Be a good role model for students by always being punctual and dressed correctly.
Willingness to take direction and act on constructive feedback from the teacher.
This program is tailored for younger students under 14 who aspire to become Aerial Arts Instructors. The Assistant Instructor Pathway offers hands-on experience and foundational training to develop teaching skills while contributing meaningfully to the studio.
What You’ll Learn:
Leadership Skills: Build confidence by leading warm-ups, demonstrating exercises, and encouraging peers.
Teaching Basics: Assist in managing classes, correcting students, and keeping the group focused.
Studio Operations: Learn the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep a studio running smoothly, from tidying to equipment handling.
Professionalism: Develop a positive attitude, reliability, and communication skills essential for future teaching roles.
Responsibilities Include:
Marking the roll when necessary.
Leading some warm-ups and exercises.
Observing teachers in class and completing booklet activities.
Correcting and assisting students during class.
Helping students with extra practice.
Handling equipment and assisting with studio tidying.
Escorting students during transitions in and out of class.
Acting as a positive role model and encouraging peers.
